Blog Extravaganza: Day Two!

Hello and Welcome to Day Two of my Blog Extravaganza!

Once a year, during the week of my birthday, I try to take a 'bloggie break'.  What I've also been doing is sharing some goodness with my fab readers and supporters.

{insert a tidbit:  I'm going to try my best to not type:   golb ydnac <<-- read it backwards...why?  because I know there are some people that just surf for specifically that and quite frankly, I want to keep this to my true readers, kwim?}

I had so much fun reading your comments regarding your favorite paper collections!

It's such a wonderfully addictive hobby we have gotten ourselves into, isn't it?

Welcome to my latest love:

Washi Tape

Up for grabs today is a roll of this adorable Freckled Fawn Heart Cloud Washi Tape.

Isn't it simply a-dorable?

So here's the deal, being a follower of my blog would be mighty nice but not a requirement....link up below and I'll draw the winner on Monday, August 13th.

For extra brownie points, answer this question:

What is your favorite use of washi goodness?

my answer:  loading it up on a tag

Hmmm, favourite use of washi tape? Well, I love that I can fold it to cut a flag end, and that it easily peels apart & still sticks firmly where I want it after. I really do think that stuff is made of magic!
Ummmm, I have never used it!

LOVE washi! I think it always adds a great touch to layouts!

Hey Sweetie, can you believe that I don't own ANY wash tape yet??? Hmmm, I'd better change that soon. My favorite use of Washi goodness is the tag you made for the July 30 EAD hop. Sooooooo fun and super adorable!

hmmm... I haven't had chance to use it yet... But I reckon... I stick it on my card...or edges of my layout...or maybe just as strip... as the background... who knows... but I love washi tapes... hugs..xoxo
I've only used it twice, and both times was a "cover up" for a mess up!!

I like lining up several rows to create background elements ... also fun to then die cut or punch washi-covered paper.

I like to just stick-em on my cards, wherever I feel like. It always makes my husband say "what's with the tape? I don't get why it is on your card...did you make a mistake or something that you needed to cover up?" haha

Love this washi tape!!! I actually used it on my project today for E.A.D Designs....inspired by you of course :)
I love adding it to tags but tried something different and always love looking at all the cool projects using it! Another obsession I am sure to jump onto!

I like it as a border for cards, or randomly to attach a sentiment or picture. Also, I use it to secure die cuts in place with my cuttlebug. so sometimes practically and sometimes just for fun!

Let's talk about hoarding for a minute. I have in my stash 10 washi tape designs and have even made one from surgical tape. I like it so much I can't bring myself to use it. Sad I tell ya!

Washi is my latest obsession too and I hoard it just like my paper. I do however love using it along the top and bottom of my 12x12 layouts. It makes a great border.

I'm so NOT good with washi...sure I used them before but I feel like I could do so much more with them!!! What I do is line up different patterns!!!

My favorite way has been to create a flower. That cloud washi is so cute!
I like jen's answer, grin... My collection of tape is pretty small.... so I'm sure if I added more of it to my stash I'd have more favorite uses.

So fun! I don't have much washi yet (what?!), but have used it randomly on cards!!! Thanks for the chance!

Wow- that washi tape is just gorgeous. Clouds AND hearts!! Am going have to hunt for that one. Do you own all of those rolls?!!! My fave thing to do with washi tape is everything- make tabs, add as a background for a sentiment- whatever the card demands really! And seriously- cant believe people actually trawl for those key words. Cheeky !
Not sure....everything??

That tape is SUPER adorable! My crafting friends always tease me because from the beginning I've always called this wasabi tape ... not sure why, but it's stuck. Love using "washi" tape as an added element of interest to my card creations. I've also used it as tape to wrapped gifts.
